38 y/o female, mother of two (4&2) and prior athlete with a lot of muscle mass. I had hip/flank lipo and fat transfer to butt and a year later calf and ankle lipo! Best thing I ever did!! Dr. Stoker is awesome. I was skeptical to even consider liposuction of my calves and ankles because this area is very tricky and requires a strongly skilled surgeon. If the procedure goes wrong, you can risk not walking or never wearing shorts again. I was at total ease with Dr. Stoker. I literally booked the surgery less then a week after my inquiry. His staff is also phenomenal and works quickly! I also had another procedure with him last year (fat transfer to butt and lipo) which literally gave me the sexiest curves! I'm 5'8" and 145 to 150 and already had curves, but after dr stoker put his magical hands on me the ratios were much better! People were asking if I lost weight and it was just proper redistribution. Needless to say, both procedures went awesome and I highly highly recommend Dr. David Stoker. If I get the courage, next up is a breast lift and maybe small implant :).
I am so pleased with the results!! I am an Asian, turning 50 next year. 5'3" with weight of 105 pounds. I used to 34A or small B bra, and always wished I had slightly bigger breasts. I wasn't really giving it a serious thought until last July when we had vacation in Cabo Lucas Mexico. I tried so many different types of bikini and nothing looked good on me due to small chest. At that point, I decided to do something about it. I searched different options, including Conservative Chinese herbal medicine, after weighing pros and cons and results from different options, I decided to go for surgery of implant. From July to Dec 2015, I did extensive research on doctors and read pretty much all reviews possible and YouTube reviews/doctors videos, I zoomed in on Mr David Stoker and another LA Doctor. When I had my consultation with Dr Stoker, I didn't spend much time on augmentation questions, instead I asked him a lot of personal questions about his family, kids, his interest, his own business, etc, etc. Dr Stoker's skills and qualification are already facts and given, but what would make me confident in choosing the right doctor was to understand the person, what makes him click and where his passions are. His attention to details and obsession were the 2 deciding factors that I decided on the spot to go ahead with him. If a surgeon is detail-oriented and obsessed with what he's doing, I would trust his/her work. On the surgery day, he called me around 9:30pm ish to check on me, what a responsible Doctor. I texted him one time in the weekend, he responded to me shortly, like what a friend does, I was blown away. The most important thing of all, I am so pleased with results-his work, they are just perfect for a career woman, sexy but not too much. I am still recovering and will post the pictures in 2 months. Yesterday when he removed the tapes, I asked him what I should do next e.g. massaging the breasts, he said do nothing and just enjoy the beautiful breasts. He sensed my confusion and told me there is no stats to support that massaging helps and if the doctor knows what he is doing, there is no need for massaging. What a confident Doctor!!! I do have one small suggestion - one of the dressing was extremely uncomfortable and maybe he should consider to drop that one, I forgot to tell his staff yesterday. Dr. David Stoker is the best Plastic surgeon on the planet. I lost over 120 lbs through diet and exercise.. unfortunately I was left with a bit of loose skin, around my body. I was doing my research for surgeons who do tummy tucks and I remember seeing Dr. Stoker on a TV show ABC's extreme weight loss, where he is the selected doctor to do the procedure because he's the best at what he does. I looked him up on the Internet and all I saw was positive reviews from thousands of patients.. I had to come and see him. I booked my consultation, first thing I saw when I came into his office were the smiling faces of his employees, from the front desk to the nurses, Heather, Sarah, Loraina, Pam to name a few of them. I then saw an incredible view of the Marina, the office he has is completely state of the art. Dr. Stoker sat with my mother and I for literally over an hour talking to us, he's a very down to earth guy. He told me the chair i was sitting on was over 15k$ and he wasn't joking. His credentials in plastic surgery exceeded my expectations, his before and after work in the pictures he showed me were amazing, he even teaches surgeons on how to do the procedure properly. I came in with the intention of getting a tummy tuck but Dr. Stoker said a circumferential tummy tuck would benefit me the most, because of the loose skin on my lower back. I went ahead and got my quote for the procedure, it was well worth it. To have the best plastic surgeon operate on you won't be cheap, but it's your body and trust me it's well worth it. I didnt have any consultations with any other surgeons because i knew i was going with the best. The day of the surgery I was put to sleep and after 5 hours I woke up, no pain at all. I could walk just a few hours after surgery no problem.. that's the work of Dr. Stoker.. I was literally opened up all around then stiched up and I was walking within a few hours it was amazing. I stayed at an aftercare facility for one night, Dr. Stoker personally came to see me early in the morning at 5 AM... what type of Dr. would do that for his patients. He said everything looked good and showed me my body. I now have 6 pack abs and a beach body. My parents saw my body and were amazed at how good it looked. All thanks to Dr. Stoker, I literally had no pain at all and now I'm 11 days after my operation typing this. Thank you Dr. Stoker and staff, you all make an incredible team. If anyone is considering a surgeon go to Dr. Stoker.. he will exceed your expectations.
Hello, I am a 53 year women fully in Menopause. I have been gaining weight at an alarming rate since menopause and my boobs are too big! I got implants in 1998. Taking me from a 36B to 36D. Since then they have grown (breastfed one baby) and are now at least a 42 DD! The implants are Mentor Textured Round Saline above the muscle. I hate the way they look. All I see are boobs when I have a photo taken. I decided to have them redone and lifted. Went to see Dr. Hughes (Los Angeles) yesterday and talked about options. We also talked about pretty extensive liposuction...stomach, flanks, back, bra roll, inner and outer thighs. I think I am going to go ahead with all the surgeries. Prices have really increased since 1998! The lipo will be $11,000. Dr. Hughes says he will take old implants out, then weigh them and put in new implants that are 100 cc's less. Also a lift. I know that the current implants are 385 and 425. I really want to be a C cup. Funny how what you want when you are 38 is NOT how you want to spend your 50's especially with menopause weight gain. Also I wonder how any of you dealt with hot flashes while in compression garments. I already sleep with two fans on me! Ha! Photos coming soon.... Updated on 19 Aug 2015: Updated on 19 Aug 2015: Went from 34B to 34 full D. This was 1998. Mentor textured over the muscle round implants. Loved them. Then had baby at 40 and menopause and I HATE them now. Updated on 29 Aug 2015: I have decided to have Dr. Stocker perform my procedures. He believes very strongly that I have plenty of breast tissue and can remove my implants! That is music to my ears. So I will have an explant, removal of the capsules and a laser bra lift. I hope to come out at a full C cup. I feel confident in his abilities and am excited. I will also have liposuction on tummy, outer and inner thighs, flanks, and bra roll. He states that iI should lose 10 to 15 pounds post surgery and I will look great. We are going to Hawaii for Christmas and my surgery is scheduled for October 1. I should be good to go! No more baggy clothes for me. Updated on 1 Oct 2015: I had my surgery yesterday with Dr. Stoker. Can I just say what a great man. Skilled, compassionate and funny. We did an explant and then a lift. I can tell already that my breasts are going to be terrific. I am so happy to be rid of the implants. He was very skilled in creating an upper pole fullness with breast tissue from the sides of my breasts. My husband actually thought I had smaller implants in place. We all did pretty extensive lipo on flanks, tummy, outer hips, inner tips. Looks like I've lost 20 lbs already.. Pain manageable but would love to sleep. Dr. Stoker is one of a kind!!!!! I am a 42 year old woman who has thought about this procedure for several years after being dissatisfied with my first breast lift and augmentation. One of the best decisions I've ever made. I workout 4-5 days per week, eat mostly healthy and love fashion. After 7 years of working out and making lots of good health decisions, I realized my boobs were the one thing about my body that would never look better. I'm so grateful for my breast. They feed 2 healthy children. Updated on 21 Jul 2015: 10 weeks post op. Overall swelling is minimal. Left breast is always a little more swollen. Sleeping is still the biggest challenge. It's hard to get comfy in bed. Laying on the scars hurts for sure. The breast look perfect when I have on clothes. Been using scar supervision silicone. The jury in still out on if it is helping the scars. I'm always on the hunt for comfy bras. Underwire bras are a major no no. Overall, super pleased with the results
I was in a bad kayaking accident when I was a teenage and needed rhinoplasty. I had it done by what was supposed to be a world class surgeon in NYC. He made my nose look slightly better and made it slightly easier to breath. I went to Dr. Stoker to fix the damage from the accident and the 1st surgery. He did an amazing job. My nose doesn’t look “done”, it fits my face and looks significantly more attractive. I actually gave him a list of exactly what I wanted done and he did it. I can also breathe a lot easier especially when I go running. His staff was great too.
