Unhappy with the sagging skin around her jaw and above her eyes, this 68-year-old woman felt the heaviness weighed her face down and made her look consistently tired and worn out. After considering surgery for some time, she sought the help of Stoker Plastic Surgery.

During her consultation, she expressed her concerns and asked her surgeon what he could do to turn back the clock. He recommended a short-incision facelift, which would tighten the lower half of her face with minimal scarring. To treat the sagging skin above her eyes, her surgeon recommended blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery, to remove excess skin and fatty deposits that weighed down her eyes. Both procedures could be performed at the same time.

After recovering from her facelift and eyelid surgery, she returned to our office for her postoperative evaluation. Her "after" photos were taken, showing a fresh and awake appearance with firmer and more youthful-looking skin. When asked how she felt about her new appearance, she said she was particularly impressed with how youthful her jowl line was.
