Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 1874

A 51-year-old gentleman came to Dr. David Stoker because he wanted to look how he felt, young and refreshed. He had excess skin above the eyes and puffy under-eyes, giving him a tired more aged appearance. Dr. Stoker performed an upper and lower blepharoplasty. The upper eyelid surgery consists of removing a big strip of skin hidden in the crease above the eye and periorbital fat and some of the muscle there so that it would lay down smoothly.

Secondly, a lower eyelid operation called a transconjunctival blepharoplasty means that Dr. Stoker everted his lower eyelid. From behind the eyelid, He made a tiny incision, and that little incision allowed him to tease out the fat that was bulging forward. Notice how much more light is getting into his eyes. He looks so much more rested and youthful.
