Morpheus8 treatments are beneficial for people who want to tighten mild to moderately lax skin on the face, neck, or body without surgery or lengthy downtime. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that addresses your concerns.
We perform Morpheus8 treatments in our office using topical anesthesia, nitrous oxide (laughing gas) orand prescription medication to minimize discomfort. Any sensation is only experienced as the RF energy is delivered via the treatment device. Treatments typically take 1 to 1.5 hours.
Most patients require about 1 to 3 days of downtime after treatment to allow redness, itchiness, and swelling to resolve. You can facilitate healing by keeping the treating area clean, refrain from picking at scabbing skin, and avoiding sun exposure.
Results develop gradually as collagen increases in the skin. Patients typically notice tightening in treated areas beginning around one months after treatment. In most cases, final results are achieved at 3 months.
Usually just a single Morpheus8 treatmen provides noticeable results. Depending on the laxity of your skin and your body’s response, you may benefit from at least 3 treatments spaced about a month apart to achieve your desired results.
