The Morpheus8 device combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy to deliver heat energy into the skin via ultra-thin needles, creating controlled microinjuries. This triggers new collagen and elastin production that smooths and firms damaged skin. Also called collagen induction therapy, microneedling increases blood flow and, generation of new dermal tissues. The depth of penetration can be adjusted to the thickness of the skin and desired degree of treatment.

The Morpheus8 device allows for a wide range of needle penetration depths, with the ability to optimize the depth and intensity of treatment to address a variety of skin conditions and areas of the body.
Microneedling can be performed on its own, but it is most effective when PRP (autologous platelet-rich plasma) is applied post-treatment to speed up the healing process or injected subcutaneously to increase new cell growth. For optimal results, exosomes can be combined with PRP.
PRP is a concentrated form of your own blood plasma that contains a high level of platelets. It is rich in growth factors that stimulate cell regeneration and collagen production. When injected subcutaneously with microneedling, PRP can further boost cell growth for anti-aging benefits.
Exosomes are small vesicles released by cells that contain proteins and genetic material. Exosomes can enhance the regenerative effects of PRP, leading to more pronounced improvements in skin texture and appearance.

Morpheus8 treatments are performed right in our office using topical numbing cream for enhanced comfort. As the handpiece moves across your skin, tiny needles penetrate below the surface, stimulating the body’s natural healing response. The number of passes and amount of energy delivered varies based on the treatment area and your aesthetic goals. Treatments typically take an hour to perform.
After a microneedling treatment, expect your skin to look sunburned and you may experience itchiness and swelling for 1 to 3 days. We will give you a topical serum to apply to your skin as needed. It’s important to keep the treated areait clean and dry and postpone workouts for the first 24 hours to give the micro-channels time to close at the surface of the skin.
Patients often notice immediate improvement in the texture and brightness of their skin; however, it takes about 3 months for lasting changes like new collagen to develop.
For optimal results, we recommend at least 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart. After that, you can visit us for maintenance treatments to preserve your youthful look.
