Forehead Wrinkles
Horizontal lines across the forehead and vertical "frown lines" between the eyebrows (11s) are common signs of aging and the stresses of life. Neurotoxins help relax and soften the appearance of these "dynamic wrinkles." Dermal fillers may be needed if the wrinkles are deeply etched. Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing is synergistic with neurotoxins and fillers for the treatment of deeper, "static wrinkles." The main disadvantage of laser resurfacing is that there is recovery downtime that is not typically associated with neurotoxins and fillers.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Sagging Brow
A heavy browline can make you look constantly tired and older than you'd like. Non-surgical treatments like Ultherapy use radiofrequency energy to tighten lax skin and tissues. Neurotoxin treatments relax the facial muscles that pull down the outer corners of the brows to provide a subtle brow lift.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
Ultherapy® -
Crow's Feet
These lines form at the outer corners of the eyes from years of squinting and smiling. Neurotoxin treatments help soften these creases and make the eyes appear more open. Proactive neurotoxin treatments can help deter crow's feet from forming in younger people. We call this type of preventive treatment "prejuvenation." Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing effectively treats deeper crow’s feet wrinkles and crepiness of eyelid skin.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Under-Eye Hollowing
Thinning skin and loss of facial fat can give you a tired look in spite of how well you take care of yourself. Hollowing under the eyes (tear troughs) can be softened with dermal filler injections. Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing tightens the skin under the eyes, reducing the appearance of bags or hollowing under the eyes.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Darkened Pigmentation Under the Eyes
As collagen is lost with age and sun exposure, thinning tissue and blood vessels below the eyes can make the skin appear dark. Many people have excess pigmentation under their eyes, which can be further darkened by sun exposure. IPL and peels lighten excess pigment in the skin. Hydroquinone is topical medication that lightens pigmentation, including under the eyes, by reducing the production of melanin.
Treatment Options:
-
Flattening Cheeks
With aging or weight loss, the cheeks can lose their youthful plumpness and definition. Filler injections may be used to restore or add volume to the medial and lateral cheeks. The cheeks are a suitable anatomic location for longer lasting fillers, such as Sculptra® Aesthetic. Results typically last 18 months to 2 years.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA, Restylane® Lyft, etc.)
-
Facial Contouring
Whether your cheeks, chin, or jawline has lost definition or always lacked prominence, dermal fillers may be used to add lift and contour to present a more defined and youthful look. Results are instant and natural looking.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA, Restylane® Lyft, etc.)
Liquid Facelift -
Heaviness of the Nasolabial Folds
With age, weight loss, and sun exposure, the skin loses collagen, facial fat diminishes, and tissues of the cheek sag, all contributing to nasolabial folds. Also called smile lines, these creases run from beside the nostrils to the outer corners of mouth and can create an older and unhappy appearance. We may use fillers to restore volume to the cheeks and soften these folds while your expressions remain natural.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
-
Nose Shape or Size
If you'd like to enhance the size or shape of your nose, dermal fillers provide a non-surgical, more-affordable alternative to rhinoplasty with no downtime needed. Results are instant and last up to a year.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Liquid Rhinoplasty -
Lip Shape or Size
If you want fuller lips because they've always been thin or have lost volume over time, dermal fillers may be used to add fullness and enhance contours. These treatments also can add definition and symmetry. Results are instant and typically last 6 months to a year.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Lip Filler -
Smoker's Lines (Lip Lines)
Vertical lines form around the lips as collagen is lost in the skin and the skin is wrinkled by repeated puckering, pursing, and sipping with straws. Dermal fillers may be placed to soften these lines around the mouth. Neurotoxins may be used to relax muscle contractions and allow these lines to gradually smooth out.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.) -
Gummy Smile
If overexposed gums make you self-conscious when you smile, simple neurotoxin injections may be used to relax the muscles around your mouth to prevent your upper lip from being lifted so high. Results are temporary and last about 3 to 4 months.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
-
Double Chin
Fat under the chin can be difficult to reduce with diet and exercise due to genetics. Some people have this submental fullness in spite of how fit they are. KYBELLA® treatments may be used to reduce fat cells under the chin as a non-surgical alternative to submental liposuction.
Treatment Options:
-
Dimpling of the Chin
Neurotoxins may be injected into the chin muscle (mentalis) to reduce the "orange peel" or dimpling appearance of the chin for a smooth, relaxed look.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
-
Mandible Angle/Jawline Contouring
Defining with filler the angle between the lower jaw and the earlobe can enhance your profile by making you appear slimmer and more youthful.
Treatment Options:
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
-
Jowls
An unwelcome sign of aging is a sagging jawline. Jowls can be caused by excess fat, lax skin, loss of facial volume, or a combination of these factors. KYBELLA® can reduce excess fat in the jowls. Ultherapy® can tighten the skin along the jawline. Filler may be placed in the midface to lift the heaviness of the jowls. Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing tightens facial skin, reducing the appearance of jowls.
Treatment Options:
KYBELLA®
Ultherapy®
Dermal fillers (JUVÉDERM®, Restylane®, etc.)
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Round Lower Face
Using neurotoxin injections, we can help you have a slimmer, more feminine jawline without surgery. These products may be injected into the masseter muscle of the face to gradually create a more oval shape as the muscles relax. Neurotoxins may also be injected into the masseter to help control TMJ and teeth grinding.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
-
Sagging Neck & Chest Skin
Aging, sun exposure, and weight changes can cause the delicate skin on the neck and décolletage to thin and lose elasticity. Ultherapy causes immediate contraction of the skin and stimulates collagen growth to gradually increase firmness for months after treatment. Microneedling can renew the production of collagen to improve elasticity, soften wrinkling and crepiness, and tighten the skin. Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing removes sun spots and tightens crepey skin.
Treatment Options:
Ultherapy®
Microneedling
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Platysmal Bands
Vertical neck bands (platysmal bands) can become pronounced with age because of the platysmal muscle. Neurotoxins may be carefully placed in the platysma muscle in the front of the neck to soften the appearance of these bands.
Treatment Options:
Neurotoxins (BOTOX® Cosmetic, Dysport®, etc.)
-
Hyperpigmentation/Melasma
Aging, sun exposure, hormones, and other factors can cause the skin to produce excess pigment and develop freckles, sun spots, melasma, and acne scars. We offer a variety of treatment options, commonly used on the face, chest, and hands, that help you have evenly colored skin.
Treatment Options:
IPL Photofacial
Microneedling
Laser skin resurfacing
Chemical peels
Cosmelan® -
Enlarged Pores
Visible and enlarged pores are a concern for people of any age and skin type. While dirt, oil, and dead skin cells can stretch the pores, loss of collagen in the skin can actually make pores look larger. We offer treatments that can clear out the pores and help the skin be healthier. Other options such as microneedling increase collagen to make the skin smoother and firmer.
Treatment Options:
Microneedling
Laser Genesis
Microinfusion (AquaGold)
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Acne
While acne is common in adolescence, it can persist for a lifetime. Adult acne often begins in midlife. We offer many combinations of effective treatments, including chemical peels, microneedling, and laser acne treatments.
Treatment Options:
-
Acne Scarring
The redness and uneven texture of acne scarring is an unwelcome reminder of the blemishes you'd like to forget. Microneedling and chemical peels can improve skin coloring and texture. Dermal fillers can temporarily fill in scars for a smoother look.
Treatment Options:
Microneedling
Dermal fillers
Chemical peels
Fractional carbon dioxide laser resurfacing -
Redness
Broken blood vessels (telangiectasias), dilated capillaries, and rosacea cause redness on exposed areas such as the cheeks, nose, and chest. Light treatments and peels can erase years from the look of your skin leaving it clear and bright.
Treatment Options:
-
Aging Skin
Over time collagen production in the skin slows down causing the skin to become thin and lose firmness. We offer treatments that can help the skin to regenerate itself producing fresh, new skin cells and replenishing collagen. Fillers may be placed in the backs of the hands to restore lost volume and a more youthful look.
Treatment Options:
Microneedling
Microinfusion (AquaGold)
Chemical peels
Dermal fillers
Fractional Carbon Dioxide Laser Resurfacing -
Veins & Capillaries
Over time, aging, sun exposure, hormones, and even genetics can result in visible capillaries and veins at the surface of the skin. We offer traditional sclerotherapy injections and advanced laser vein therapy to clear away unsightly veins and help you feel more confident about your skin.
Treatment Options:
-
Sun Damage
Sun exposure is one of the most significant causes of skin aging prematurely. Often called photoaging—which is why treatments such as intense pulsed light are called photofacials—sun damage happens in the deepest layers of the skin and can take years before the damage becomes visible. Signs of sun damage include brown spots, wrinkles, broken capillaries, uneven skin texture, and reduced skin elasticity. Superficial, medium, or deep chemical peels remove the damaged outer layers of skin. Laser skin resurfacing and microneedling can also improve the skin's complexion.
