On wanting to do an abdominoplasty procedure I researched and consulted Cosmetic Surgeons in Beverly Hills, Marina Del Ray, and Orange County. Of all the surgeon on my list, Dr. Stoker in Marina Del Ray stood out, in my opinion as to the most caring and qualified doctor. His passion for his work tops all other surgeons I visited. During my consultations, I could discuss with him my concerns and get honest professional answers (before and after surgery). He was upfront with what is practical for me and he had documentation of his past surgeries, which was to my liking. That is why I chose Dr. Stoker to do my abdominoplasty procedure. Further his office and nursing staff was amazing and made me feel beyond comfortable with the process, and after. Heather, Amber, and Lorena are beyond exceptional!!! All three ladies have incredible patient care skills and are very, very kind and professional. My entire experience from beginning to end was wonderful. In addition, postoperative care provided by Dr. Stoker and his staff is beyond exceptional. I would highly recommend Dr. Stoker for cosmetic surgery he offers.

I wish I can give more stars!! Dr. Stoker has changed my outcome of what I see when I look at myself now. I interviewed many surgeons and was getting ready to make a decision until his name popped up on the screen. I scheduled an appointment and fell in love with him and his office staff. I told Dr. Stoker there is no way he can do what he says and make my dramatic change a reality! Well I am proud to say, yes he did!! He will not fill your head with unnecessary talk but instead look you in your eyes and ask, what do you want. He knew what needed to be done, but he gave me the opportunity to tell him what i am looking for as an end result and he made sure it happened. I love how he says " we will continue to be here for you throughout your journey no matter what you need" Although I am still healing, I am so impressed with his professionalism and honesty. He says we are working together as a team and I love it! I walked into his office afraid and indecisive on the first consultation. Each visit afterwards, I walk in with a smile and walk out with an even bigger one! Dr. Stoker is not just a surgeon, he has compassion and is attentive to your needs! His hands are magical!!!!! Dr. Stoker's professionalism and results he achieves are second to none. There is NOBODY else I would trust as completely as I do Dr. Stoker. Dr. Stoker managed to make a potentially very uncomfortable surgery into a surprisingly pleasant experience for me. He has genuinely changed my life and I am grateful for him.
Dr. Stoker has been the light at the end of the tunnel for my weight loss journey. I am a female, 26 years of age, lost over 100 lbs in the past 3 years. Dr. Stoker performed my first surgery which was a combination breast reduction/lift and arm lift in 2017, my results were phenomenal and I feel great. As for my current surgery, a lower body lift is a big deal, it’s life changing, and though I am only 12 days post-op, meaning I am still inevitably bruised and swollen, I am beyond happy with my results. As a doctor, he really is a perfectionist and a realist. He has impeccable bedside manner and has the ability to comfort and support you throughout this journey. Over 100 lbs and 3 feet of skin later, I will always be thankful to him. I’ve waited two years and traveled 16 hours for the sole purpose of having dr. Stoker be my surgeon. I am comfortable with him and my entire family trusts him. He performed the same surgery on a family member and two years later they are living their best life. A lower body lift is a difficult surgery, but I am happy to say I already feel great. The doctor puts so much care into assessing patient needs and recommending the best surgical plan for his patients. He is honest and gives you ample time to ask questions and process answers. I am still a long way from my final result but I truly believe that from I’ve seen and how I feel that I am already changed. He has so much insight and experience, I was excited and asked for an additional surgery to my lower body lift, the doctor recommended against it and I trust him completely, not many doctors in my experience would recommend against something that would be of gain to them. He really sees patients as his responsibility and he knows how much these surgeries can change a life. My family absolutely love him, and it’s very hard to come across this kind of comfort. I would recommend anyone that is interested or knows someone that may need such a surgery to visit doctor Stoker for a consultation. His staff is marvelous and you start to feel at home from your first visit.
I am absolutely thrilled with my results and thankful for Dr. Stoker !! I’ve wanted to have a neck lift for years. My girlfriend and I went to three different physicians to get opinions, including two in Beverly Hills. They were mostly “stuffy” and gave me a “canned” speech about how great they were. I felt like I was at a car dealership, rushed at every question. Since I am also in the medical field, I felt it was critical to find the right surgeon to touch my face. None of them made me feel comfortable or listened to every question and concern I had, UNTIL I met Dr. Stoker. My hairdresser referred me, as she had several clients that had seen Dr. Stoker and she told me “I have never seen better necks, and I see a lot of necks.” Dr. Stoker spent most of his time analyzing my facial structure and asking what I wanted from my procedure. My biggest concern was that I would look different. His comment was, “you will look the same, just 15 years younger!” He was RIGHT….. I also had him do an upper eye lift, and I am SO happy that I did that at the same time. Dr. Stoker and his staff were all very caring and professional. I have referred several of my friends, and will absolutely return.

I was very happy with the warmth and availability of the wonderful patient coordinator, Heather before, during, and after the surgery. Prior to consulting with Dr. Stoker, I consulted with other surgeons as well. He clearly was the best, and helped me decide on the perfect procedure for me; whereas, the other surgeons were emphasizing another procedure (breast augmentation). The results speak for themselves. In addition, I was prepared for Dr. Stoker to be arrogant and unapproachable based on some of his reviews, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that, as a professional myself, I actually admired his bedside manner and think very highly of him. I would also be remiss not to mention the nursing staff, especially Lorraine, who was available to answer all my paranoid questions after the procedure. Dr. Bonness was wonderful and truly made me feel at ease the night before and the morning before my procedure. I'm only 3 months post op, and my body keeps changing in a wonderful way, erasing a decade's worth of slowing metabolism. Im hoping my small scars go away, and I remain optimistic that the one larger than expected will resolve over time. Overall, the practice went above and beyond what I expected, and I am pleased with the result.
